In fact, the University of Camerino, also through the School of Architecture and Design, as part of its institutional activity carries out studies and research related to the activities that the municipality develops or intends to develop in relation to the different thematic areas that the activity focuses administratively : from environment to private construction, from public works to cultural heritage and state properties, from urban planning to traffic and mobility.

The university and the municipality will contribute to the preservation, protection, use and strengthening of the historical-artistic, architectural – urban, archaeological with exchange of experience, archival material, documentary devices, scientific products, exhibitions, cultural events and joint initiatives. and ethno-anthropological, utilizing their respective knowledge and activities.

The purpose of the agreement is to carry out research, technological development and innovation initiatives and activities relating to the territory in its various articulations or thematic areas, with special attention is paid to supporting and accompanying the development of studies, research and the use of new intelligent technologies in planning, sustainable urban renewal, improvement of municipal assets and the cultural heritage of the city and the area. The agreement, which lasts four years, includes provisions for the organization of periodic meetings, mapping of activities and mapping of the latest, creation of documents and feasibility studies regarding strategies to define interventions on the city and its culture.
