Nearly 2 million euros, to be exact 1,964,650 euros, is the amount that Monte di Bologna and the Ravenna Foundation have set aside to support projects, institutional interventions and initiatives that will involve the Bolognese and Ravenna territories throughout the rest. semester of this year.

In the light of the hundreds of proposals received, the Foundation chose according to the guidelines in the Planning Document from 2022: from strengthening solidarity to ensuring the health of citizens, from culture to scientific research, from initiatives dedicated to young people to initiatives aimed at women and generally the most fragile parts of the population and at risk of social exclusion. Once again, the purpose of the foundation is to provide concrete answers to the needs of citizens in synergy with associations and public bodies in the field with a view to participatory and coral intervention.

In the social sector, the fund has set aside € 848,100 to support heterogeneous initiatives that cover a wide range of needs.

With regard to public health, assistance-like activities have been funded for people with disabilities who suffer from mental health problems or cognitive deficits, such as the Italian Association for Assistance to Spastic Worms to promote the integration and independence of people with disabilities and provide daily support to their family members.
