A highly professionalizing training opportunity, designed in response to the environmental energy challenge affecting the whole local production system, primarily the companies in the reference supply chain, and which is increasingly bringing the demand for new qualified professionals to meet the change that is taking place.
Called Environment 22 the two-year course, with high technical and technological specialization, aimed at young people between 18 and 29, which the ITS Energy and Environment Fund will present next year in Colle Val d’Elsa (SI), in collaboration with some of the most important production companies in the territory of Siena as Pramaca partner company in the fund.
A course of approximately 1,800 hours in total, organized in 4 semesters – realized in connection with POR FSE 2014-2020 and GiovaniSì in the Tuscany region and recognized by Miurwith classroom teaching, laboratory activities, training visits, seminars, meetings with business representatives and a period of professionalization of internships of 700 hoursmade completely in-house.
Smart Energy, Renewable Energy, Sustainability are some of the course’s highly topical and specialized topics, which thanks to a laboratory teaching and oriented towards technological innovation 4.0 make it possible to develop these new green and digital competencies today strategic for corporate eco-sustainability and competitiveness, even on global scenarios, and an element of growing demand from the labor market in the coming years.
Paolo Campinoti, CEO of Pramac – “Pramac is proud to be a member of the ITS Foundation as a founding member in 2021. Since then, seven internships and an advanced apprenticeship have been activated. ITS is a training offer that aims to strengthen young talents. Furthermore, during 2022, active teaching was started for a total of twenty hours, which meant the direct involvement of Pramac employees as teachers. By arranging a tour of the company, students could see the entire production chain up close. Thanks to the leading role that the partner companies in ITS Energia e Ambiente like Pramacperforms at all stages of the education, students leaving the courses, meet a real need of companies in terms of technical skills and have the opportunity to become a professional in a short time in the main production realities of the area.
A winning factor that also translates into the excellent results in terms of employability for the students who have recently left the foundation’s courses. Besides 85% of graduates found a job in accordance with their studies within one year of graduation.
