CROSS – NOEMI DI NUCCI AND WILLIAM KENTRIDGE

UP2YOUFEST

With the arrival of summer, the cultural festival kicks off throughout the city, from the historic center to the suburbs. This is the Up2You Party, the manifestation of live events since June 16 to September 18 it will be divided into three stages and whose appointments will take place in different places. UGO OF CARPI
Until August 29th
From San Pietro to Palazzo Madama Altarpiece for the altar of the Holy Face by Ugo Carpi arrives at the Civic Museum of Ancient Art until August 29th with a dedicated exhibition. A loan made possible thanks to the collaboration between the Torino Musei Foundation and the Fabbrica di San Pietro in the Vatican. Worked with Ugo da Carpi, set up just below the fresco on the Exhibition of the Shroud, represents Veronica unfolding the veil of the saint’s face between the apostles Peter and Paul. An extraordinary table, created in 1525, the anniversary year, above all for the fact that it was created “without brush“. Ugo da Carpi, also called the carver, created the work with the bold technique overlapping matrix printing.

GATE WEEKEND ART
Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of June at 15-19
Three days of street art with Mrfijodor in the name of nature with landscaping and regeneration of via Cottolengo. Saturday and Sunday the artist is holding a workshop, in collaboration with the architects from FW Studio, designed to create drawings of colorful flowers and lush plants and leaves to be painted on the posts on the stretch via Cottolengo, now gray and dilapidated, leading to the office garden for Pastoral Care of Migrants from the Archdiocese of Turin and the association Walking together within the Opera Barolo complex, which will soon open to the public with an official inauguration and a large parade in the streets of the neighborhood. “Week end Street Art” always ends in Magnolia Garden with a great party and aperitif on the tunes of the Ivorian musician Doumbia Saka and his percussion group.

OPEN AIR BARRIERS

For the second year in a row, the “Open Air Barrier” review is back, a broad socio-cultural proposal, including film, music, literature, environmental sustainability, workshops, performances, lectures and concerts available to all citizens and all generations up to the On September 24, it will animate five different rooms in the Barriera di Milano in Turin. Ong -Barriera in the open offers over a period of four months, 60 appointments in 5 different rooms in the Barriera di Milano for a rich program of events: from acclaimed films, to live music concerts in different genres, to in-depth and dissemination evenings on global issues and environmental protection, training in the themes of self-production and self-organization of local communities, site-specific theater performances, up to listening sessions, artistic workshops, temporary exhibitions, talks and radio concerts with street scene.

THE SUMMER PAPER SHEEP

Soundset Aps in collaboration with Cooperativa Valpiana are pleased to present “Cartiera Estate”, eight events under the stars of Via Fossano 8 in Turin, in the arena of the former Turin paper mill. Cartiera is a space in the city of Turin, accessible to young people and young people, where they can express their creativity, experiment with growth paths, get involved in the organization of events and activities to become main characters in the social and cultural life of the area.
