Here are the magnificent thirteen winners of the competition “In school in Europe”.

The 13 parchments confirming the winner of a scholarship to spend a school period abroad with an intercultural program were delivered today to UniCredit.
The winners are students from technical and professional institutes living in Campania, Lombardy and Piedmont. Between the beginning of September and the end of November 2022, they will have the opportunity to live a training experience at a high human, cultural and professional level abroad, thanks to the partnership between the Giovanni Agnelli Foundation, Cav. Low. Pesenti, UniCredit Foundation and Intercultura Foundation through the first edition of the “A Scuola in Europa” project.

The three foundations involved are committed to supporting Intercultura for other scholarships for the benefit of students wishing to live a study experience abroad in the school year 2023-24 with the Intercultura programs.
The “In school in Europe” project represents an important educational opportunity for the future of these young people to prepare to live in an increasingly globalized world and learn to deal with cultures other than their own.
The scholarships for a total value of € 120,000 were awarded:

Giorgia Aiello from Turinenrolled at the Giovanni Dalmasso Higher Education Institute (Agricultural Technical address) of Pianezza (TO). Giorgia will participate in a quarterly program in France.
Arianna Barcaro from Villafranca D’Asti (ON), enrolled at the GA Giobert Higher Education Institute (Technical Tourism address) in Asti. Arianna will participate in a quarterly program in Switzerland.
Miriam Fumagalli from Barzago (LC), registered with Graziella Fumagalli Professional Institute for Services (Professional Commercial and Tourist Services Address) in Casatenovo (LC). Miriam will participate in a quarterly program in Serbia.
Antonio Laudisio from San Valentino Torio (SA), enrolled in the professional institute of agricultural services and rural development Salerno ProfAgri (professional agricultural address) in Sarno SA). Antonio will participate in a quarterly program in Flemish Belgium.
Marco Leone from Pagani (SA), enrolled in the professional institute of services for agriculture and rural development Salerno ProfAgri (professional agricultural address) in Angri (SA). Marco will participate in a quarterly program in France.
Lucrezia Maria Mazza from Milan, enrolled at the Vilfredo Federico Pareto Higher Education Institute (Agricultural Technical Address) in Milan. Lucrezia Maria will participate in a quarterly program in the Czech Republic.
Alessia Musto from Forino (AV), enrolled in the Professional Institute for Food, Wine and Hotel Hospitality Manlio Rossi Doria (Professional Hospitality Address) in Avellino. Alessia will participate in a quarterly program in France.
Gabriele Pinna from Cuneo, enrolled at the Virginio Donadio Higher Education Institute (Professional Hospitality Address) in Dronero (CN). Gabriele will participate in a quarterly program in Flemish Belgium.
Martina Saviano from Aversa (CE), enrolled at the Gaetano Filangieri Secondary Education Institute (Technical Tourism Address) in Frattamaggiore (NA). Martina will participate in a quarterly program in the Czech Republic Timur Sokolchik from Pianengo (CR), enrolled at the Galileo Galilei Institute of Higher Education (specialization in computer science and telecommunications) in Crema. Timur will participate in a quarterly program in Flemish Belgium.
Rocco Tedesco from Sant’Egidio Del M. Albino (SA), enrolled in the professional institute of services for agriculture and rural development Salerno ProfAgri (professional agricultural address) in Angri (SA). Rocco will participate in a quarterly program in Serbia.
Luca Toscano from San Maurizio Canavese (TO), enrolled at the Carlo Grassi Technological Institute (Turin). Luca will participate in a quarterly program in Serbia.
Luca Zaffanelli from Cremona, enrolled at the Stanga Higher Education Institute (Agricultural Technical Address) in Cremona. Luca will participate in a quarterly program in Flemish Belgium. In a mix of emotions and expectations for the impending departure, the boys were rewarded during a ceremony hosted by the Intercultura Foundation and moderated by Giannantonio De Roni, Secretary General of the UniCredit Foundation, attended by Professor Giorgio Barba Navaretti from the University of Milan and representing the funds. : Silvia Cappellini, Head of the UniCredit Foundation; Andrea Gavosto, Director and Barbara Romano, Researcher at

Departures are scheduled for early September 2022. The experience abroad includes reception in selected families, participation in a local school and is followed step by step by the presence of a group of volunteers. Participating students will receive from Intercultura the certification of the skills acquired in each phase of the program.
