“The Edela Prize – explains the chairman Roberta Beolchi, international interior design professional architect – it is a dream come true, another fundamental element in raising public awareness more and more about orphaned children. I can only be grateful for the attention that our initiative is gaining: a support that will help raise public awareness of a phenomenon that is still ignored by the news and that tends to focus only on the spotlight on the woman killed and her executioner, and ignores it in In Italy there are almost 3 thousand minors who passively undergo a terrible dynamic and after the tragedy find themselves without their mother killed and without their father in prison to serve their sentence.
THE ROLE OF “FULFILLING GRANDPARENTS” – The ceremony will have two phases: at the beginning it will be opened with the institutional greetings of the CONI President Giovanni Malagò, with the participation of the Minister for Equal Opportunities and Family Elena Bonetti. The figure of “Foster grandparents”it is fundamental in the growth and training of child victims. Subsequently, there will be the awarding of five special prizes and over twenty prizes to professionals in sports, entertainment, journalism and fashion, with a very sharp eye on the female world. The main figures in the cultural and economic life of the capital and leaders who care about Edela’s values will be involved.
