A summer camp in Rome for Ukrainian refugee mothers and children

Atlantia takes the field in favor of Ukrainian refugee mothers and children. The Italian holding company active in the mobility sector, from airports to motorways, has in fact launched a Rome the project “Atlantia4Ukraine”. It is a summer camp, active from Monday 13 June to next 2 September (from 9.00 to 17.30), which includes sports and recreational activities for around 2,000 people in the framework of Villa Fassinian equipped green area of ​​24,000 square meters, in the Tiburtina area.

The project

The camp is also open to mothers, who can thus play sports and take advantage of targeted reception offers. The activities were defined through a path to listen to the main needs of the Ukrainian refugee community present in Rome: on 13 May, an open day was organized in which the workers of Atlantia, the representatives of the NGOs and the institutions involved met and talked with about 500 Ukrainian refugees, precisely to activate the services most in demand.
