Milan as in the old days before Covid: frantic, stuffy, heavier (and it’s not nice), lively, proactive, exposing (and this one is). It’s Design Week 2022. Salone Internazionale del Mobile (FieraMilano Rho, salonemilano.it/) opens to the public over the last weekend: now in its 60th edition it is back with over 2000 exhibitors. And even Fuorisalone is back in an improved version (around 800 events), as if everyone would make up for it after two such difficult and quiet years. You have to believe in the economy, and then: full speed ahead and everyone on display. The complete program at yesmilano.it/milano-design-week. This our column can therefore not avoid being dominated by the events of the last weekend of this great design event.
