CASTELNUOVO BERARDENGA. There are ten initiators of summer sun camps for children and young people between the ages of 3 and 18, who have agreed with the expression of interest published by the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga. The sun fields start Monday, June 13th and they will continue until 12 September with a differentiated calendar that includes social, didactic, sporting, cultural and environmental educational activities organized by Associazione Camminando a Quercegrossa, Polisportiva La Bulletta Association, Dalmatian Mice Association, Circolo Arci Geggiano, Circolo Villa a Sesta, Società Filarmonico Drammatica, GSD Berardenga, GSD Berardenga of Saints Peter and Paul, Uisp Atletica Siena Quercegrossa and Uisp Siena Pianella Committee.

“The municipal administration – he says Martina Borgogni, councilor of associations of Castelnuovo Berardenga – also wanted this year to promote and support the summer solar camps, which represent important initiatives to help families during the period when schools are closed and promote socialization and growth of children and young people with educational and recreational activities. With these goals and to encourage the greatest possible participation – adds Borgogni – the municipality has allocated 20,000 euros to reduce registration costs and help the vulnerable, allow sanitation of the camp structures in accordance with anti Covid-19 rules and allow the presence of educators for children with disabilities. I thank all the subjects who participated in the expression of interest and organized the summer sun camps, which confirms the valuable role played by the associations present in our area.
