Hermès returns to the former Pelota to present the new home collection born under the artistic direction of Charlotte Macaux-Perelman and Alexis Fabry. This year’s exhibition is designed in the name of lightness, as a challenge to gravity, which is expressed through the presentation of objects to the home within four structures. To give shape to this anthem for ease, six creations are made of cashmere, one of the house’s favorite materials.

    The lighting brand Flos celebrates its 60th anniversary with a look to the future, and establishes a space with more souls at Fabbrica Orobia, where you can discover the brand’s values ​​and experience a rich cultural and entertainment program during Milan Design Week and beyond. With an installation project curated by Calvi Brambilla, the brand will present the entire catalog of its production, including the new decorative, architectural, outdoor and bespoke 2022 collections, and will unveil a particularly limited edition of Arco, the brand’s iconic lamp that is also celebrating ‘ it 60 years.

    For the occasion, a rich platform of conversations is also planned, moderated by Felix Burrichter, founder of PIN-UP magazine, together with the editors Victoria Camblin and Nick Korody, an exclusive WE ARE ONA pop-up café and restaurant with chefs Matthias Degn (Ex Noma, Ex Au Passage) and Sayaka Sawaguchi, workshops for students from the Fosbury Architecture collective and activities dedicated to children by Kikolle Lab along with the sound of Davide Boosta Dileo.

    Mathieu Lehanneurfamous French designer, presents at Triennale di Milano Curriculum Vitae, a series of four installations based on the collection of scientific and statistical data documenting the state of the world population and the consequences of its behavior on Earth. The exhibition, curated by Maria Cristina Didero, is configured as an inventory of the world: the state of its peoples and its oceans, but also of our conscience. Through the four combined installations, the Creator offers us a mirror of the world as it is and how we live it today. Each of them is based on scientific and statistical data provided by the UN, WHO and satellite photos generated specifically for the project.

      Atlas Concordea company specializing in ceramic surfaces, participates in Milano Design Week 2022 with an author installation in the heart of Brera that interprets the world of ceramic surfaces through sculptural forms created ad hoc to illustrate the theme of the Fuoris Salon “Between Space and Time”. For installation, Piero Lissoni he imagined an immersive primeval landscape populated by eighteen vertical elements reminiscent of the archetypes of architecture, placed on a mirrored platform that visually enhances its iconic power.
