Vita Lenta is the title of the installation curated by the designer duo Fine dust and created in collaboration with Isola Design District. We wanted to create a space that would reassure all visitors, “says Gianluca Sigismondi. The project was born after a three-hour chat. As soon as we knew we could turn a space into a place of art, we spontaneously designed what it was going to become Slow life. Then we changed it over time and looked for its strength. To create the exhibition, we made an analysis of our projects “, Gianluca continues,” we confronted ourselves with the critical issues of the installations in which we previously participated. And we noticed that visitors often had not had the opportunity to stop , to move freely between the pieces on display. Sometimes the freedom to observe a product is denied at three hundred and sixty degrees, but some works need space to be understood. It’s such a trivial thing that it’s underestimated. “Thus came the inspiration from Japan.” The Japanese house, strictly divided into spaces, boasts poetic dimensions that inspired the organization of the installation “.
