The total amount of resources allocated – which also includes ministerial funds – grew with over 70%, from almost 17 million euros in the three-year period 2016-2018 to almost 29 million euros in the three-year period 2019-2021. Furthermore, the Region has guaranteed more than two million euros a year to support school transport.

Goals for the next three years

Not only that: the commitment is to consolidate both the amount of scholarships intended for students in poor financial conditions who go the first two years of high school or are enrolled in the vocational programs (VET), both the size of contribution to textbooks aimed at students in disadvantaged financial conditions who go to primary and secondary school.
Scholarships: the results achieved
To avoid duplication with state funds, the region has decided to dedicate its resources to the high school’s two-year period, including IeFP courses (Education and Vocational Training), while ministerial contributions are aimed at the following three years. In the school year 2020/21 the value of scholarships was equal to 183 euros for the two-year period e 224 for the three-year period, integrated with a a further 25% for disabled and eligible students.
From AS 2019/2020, the same was guaranteed contribution to textbooksdifferentiated according to ISEE: at 102 and 162 euros.
The number of provided services (including scholarships and contributions to the purchase of textbooks) has undergone one over the years constant growthaccompanied by the increase in the committed resources: come on 35,587 benefits of 2018/19 for 7.9 millions of euros in resources have been transferred to 49,740 benefits for 9 million euros in 2019/20. The benefits have been 61,558 to 9.9 million in 2020/21. The latest data relates to the school year 2021/22 and confirms the trend, with 63.525 provided benefits per 11 millions of euros in resources.
The number of receiving students is increasing
If you look in more detail, it turns out that sstudents eligible for regional scholarships they grew by 36% from 2018/19 to 2019/20 and by 9% the following year. That sstudents eligible for ministerial scholarships they grew by 39% from 2018/19 to 2019/20 and by 24% the following year. For the year 2021/22, the growing trend for eligible students is confirmed, both for regional scholarships (+ 10% compared to 2020/21) and for national scholarships (+ 12% compared to 2020/21)).
