“Dream on Green”, completed MSP Roma sports and school project

Rome, May 11 (askanews) – Sports and school together again. Two complementary worlds that have spawned an important project for the benefit of students. “Dream on Green-From the Hole to Exclusion” is the project carried out by Liceo Artistico Ripetta together with MSP Roma, a sports promotion agency recognized by Coni, which aimed to promote among young people, strongly affected by the pandemic, development of proper social relations and improvement of physical and mental conditions through the practice of outdoor sports.
The department’s 1,108 students – reads a note – were engaged for twelve days, from April 5 to May 11 in the sports facilities “La Mirage Sporting Club” and “Tevere Golf”, in the free training of golf, football at. beach volleyball and paddle followed by professional instructors, communication and autonomy assistants for children with Bes (special educational needs).
“Dream on Green” is part of the Social Sport MSP Italia initiative of the Sports Department under the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, sponsored by the Department of Sport, Tourism and Major Events in the Municipality of Rome and sponsored by Decathlon. A project that was possible thanks to the commitment of the high school teachers, who in recent months coordinated the department’s classes so that everyone participated in this sports activity. The boys, from the first to the fifth year, responded with enthusiasm to the project, both by discovering new sports disciplines and practicing those that were already known.
