‘Children’s Florence’ is back, three days of free events throughout the city

‘Qua la mano’: the 2022 edition from 13 to 15 May. The night at the museum is also back in the Salone dei Cinquecento

There new edition of Firenze dei Bambiniorganized by the municipality of Florence and by Mus.e and planned various places on 13, 14 and 15 Mayis dedicated to what everyone – and especially the little ones – have missed: sociality, relationships, living and present confrontation.

The name of the 2022 edition ‘Qua la mano’ represents well the heart of the festival and the spirit that animates the activities on the calendar, which for the first time sees the involvement of the elderly in Montedomini, who will meet the children in an intertwining of generations and exchange of experiences based on fun and sociability. “It is precisely the need for socialization that is increasingly needed, especially after the pandemic that has changed our lives on a personal and social level, is the basis of the events that make up Florence for children.”

“This edition of Firenze dei Bambini, entitled Qua la mano, is particularly important for its high symbolic value, a true anthem for sociability – he explains Valentina Zucchi, head of Mus.e’s cultural dissemination and curator of the initiative – in fact, the program aims in a playful, original and sometimes surprising way to highlight the importance of relationships and bonds between individuals, which strengthens the dimensions of encounter and comparison, pluralism, being collective and community “.
