Baglietto launches “Rush” 42 meter planing boat by Paszkowski Design – News

La Spezia, May 9, 2022 – A return to the origins of Baglietto, which rediscovers its iconic planing line and relaunches it towards the future. The 42-meter-long aluminum motor yacht RUSH was launched on Saturday and carries the signature of Francesco Paszkowski for both exterior and interior, the latter in collaboration with Margherita Casprini.

The DNA of the last born in the Baglietto house is contained in the name dedicated to her by her owner: “RUSH”, an anthem for speed, performance and power. These are, in fact, the connotation elements of this 42-meter-long aluminum yacht: sleek lines and a modern and aggressive look, enhanced by the dark gray color of the hull and the extensive use of multi-level glazed surfaces that give the exteriors a stylish, highly modern look.

The compact Hard Top superstructure with little development in height also helps to enhance the attractive design. The hull is brand new, extremely powerful, designed by Plana Design, capable of reaching a significant maximum speed of 28 knots thanks to 3 MTU 16V 2000 M96 L engines with 2 external transmissions in traditional shaft and central VOITH linear jet transmission.

The draft limited to 2.10 m allows easy navigation even in areas with shallow water.

The bow design is also innovative with a hatch that opens downwards to create a comfortable swimming platform open to the sea with a sofa area, while a side hatch allows launching and towing of the tender.

Large volumes characterize this yacht. The interior layout follows a classic structure, with the full-width front main cabin on the main deck including a large bathroom and spacious walk-in closet. A conversation area welcomes guests at the entrance on this deck, where also the dining area and kitchen are located.

The sleeping area on the lower deck includes four guest cabins: 2 double VIP cabins and 2 twin guest cabins. On the same deck, front, crew area with captain’s cabin, dinette and 3 cabins with bunk beds.

On the upper deck, the wheelhouse is directly connected to the spacious sky lounge with conversation area and cinema room. The dining table is located outside. Further aft is the sunbathing area with sun loungers and seats. Another area for sunbathing is located at the bow on the same deck.

The boat will have its world premiere at the next Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
