What are the purposes of the Solidarity Fund

To make it easier for the school’s students to participate in the activities that the educational offer envisages, an “Institute Solidarity Fund” could be set up, which could represent an opportunity for financial intervention that the school could offer students whose families pay in situations. of particular financial difficulties. The fund could be managed by a commission headed by the principal and composed of DSGA and a reference teacher from the class in which the student to whom the fund is requested is deployed.

Allocation of the fund

In order to make it easier for the school’s students to participate in the activities that the School’s Education Offer envisages, the Solidarity Fund is allocated on the basis of the set priorities:

  • excursions, guided tours and educational trips, including school camps and educational / internship trips abroad;
  • courses and / or fees related to language certification exams;
  • laboratory activities to enrich the educational offer proposed by external bodies during teaching time.

The size of the fund

The size of the Solidarity Fund is variable, linked to part of the voluntary contribution that the families pay. The CDI can determine the maximum limit that can be given for each year.

Beneficiaries and methods of access to the fund

Who are the recipients and how do you access the fund:

  • All students who are enrolled in our department with a special need and who participate regularly can benefit from the Solidarity Fund;
  • The request to use the Solidarity Fund can be submitted to DS by the parents of the aforementioned students;
  • In order to be able to access the Solidarity Fund, parents or teachers must submit a request to DS formulated for the date of use to pay the travel tax according to the model prepared by the school.

The documents to be attached

Parents must enclose the following documents:

  • ISEE model (for educational travel / language internship only);
  • self-certification form addressed to DS.

The proportion of those eligible will be determined as determined by a special commission of inquiry.

The amount that can be granted

The Commission will assess the applications and arrange for the payment of the contribution, possibly up to 50% of the fee required by the school for each pupil, in proportion to the individual costs to be borne in relation to the number of requesting families. In very exceptional cases, if the liquidity of the Fund so permits, the Commission shall be entitled to increase this percentage of the contribution granted. There will be no ranking of the beneficiaries, as the fund will be distributed equally among all applicants in relation to the plan for excursions, visits and educational trips, including language internships. The amount granted will be deducted directly from the total price of the trip


The fund is subject to separate reporting upon approval of the financial statements. The Fund’s reporting, in its overall context and relative use, is subject to verification by the CDI through an overview table of the initial consistency that distinguishes between the actual uses of the year. The amounts not spent in a given school year will reasonably be able to supply the same fund in subsequent years by increasing it and will be represented in the accounts under a specific item of limited profits. If the CDI deems it necessary, an intra-annual summary of the coherence of the Fund may be requested.
